Episode 103 – Sharon O'Halloran – CEO SAFE Ireland

Sharon has been working with SAFE Ireland for the past 18 years.

Originally from Ennis, Co. Clare, she travelled to the USA a couple of time before deciding to settle back in Ireland.

She studied theology before starting to work with SAFE Ireland, an organisation that aims at changing culture and transforming the response to domestic violence.

“Over 10,000 women are seeking help as victims of domestic abuse each year, with an estimated 79% of women not reporting… it’s an epidemic”

You can find out more about Sharon on Twitter, LinkedIn or on the SAFE Ireland Website.
