Episode 94 – Liam Ó Maonlaí – Musician

Liam is an Irish musician best known as a member of Hothouse Flowers. Ó Maonlaí formed the band in 1985 with his schoolmate Fiachna Ó Braonáin.

During our conversation he talked about the importance of music “the honey of the people”, the Irish Language, history and the importance of learning through storytelling and so much more.

We caught up during the Covid19 Pandemic in Ireland and he offered some great insight on his views of the world.
